Stewart Powers Mist to Unrivaled Championship

Breanna Stewart scored 32 points to lead the Mist to an 80-74 victory over Kelsey Plum and the top-seeded Phantom in the Unrivaled championship game.

The Mist secured the $600,000 prize pool by overcoming a 24-18 first-quarter deficit led by Plum's 18 points. Stewart's 10-0 run in the third quarter proved decisive as the Mist claimed their first title in the league's second season. Each Mist player will earn $100,000, double the amount from last season's winners.

Plum finished with a playoff-record 40 points, including 6-of-7 from three-point range, but couldn't prevent the upset. The Mist, who had lost twice to Phantom in the regular season, made key plays down the stretch to reach the target score and secure the championship.
