Lincoln Stuns No. 2 O'Dea in Basketball

Lincoln High School stunned No. 2 O'Dea with a 71-58 upset victory in the Class 3A state tournament regional round, advancing to the quarterfinals.

The No. 6 seed from Tacoma dominated the favored Seattle team from start to finish. Sophomore Justus Holt scored a game-high 23 points while Davion Shareef-Dulaney added 22, leading the Abes to the impressive victory.

O'Dea, which had only lost to No. 1 Rainier Beach in-state this season, looked shellshocked throughout the contest. Senior guard Brian Webster led the Irish with 16 points. Lincoln's win gives them a bye into the quarterfinals at the Tacoma Dome next Thursday.
