Doohan Receives Death Threats Before Alpine Exit

In the latest episode of Netflix’s Drive to Survive, Australian driver Jack Doohan disclosed that he received multiple death‑threatening emails and witnessed armed men during the Miami Grand Prix, prompting him to call a police escort.

Following the race, Alpine replaced him with Franco Colapinto and Doohan later posted that he and his family were targeted by online abuse, suggesting the harassment came from fans in Colapinto’s home country of Argentina.
