U.S. Hockey Goalie Regrets Laughing at Trump's Women's Team Joke

U.S. men's hockey team goalie Jeremy Swayman admitted regret about laughing at President Trump's joke aimed at the women's team in the aftermath of their gold medal victory over Canada. "We should have reacted differently. We know that," said the Boston Bruins player.

During a Sunday night call to the Olympic champions, Trump quipped about inviting the women's squad to the State of the Union address with the men's team, saying "I must tell you, we're gonna have to bring the women's team, you do know that," adding he would "probably be impeached" if he didn't. Five members of the men's team later declined Trump's invitation to the address, while the women's team had previously snubbed the offer.
