The Indianapolis Colts have granted permission to quarterback Anthony Richardson to seek a trade, following his loss of the QB competition to Daniel Jones. The No. 4 pick of the 2023 draft, Richardson will look for a new home after the Colts decided to retain Jones as their starting quarterback for 2026 and beyond.

Richardson has faced injury challenges throughout his young career, including an orbital fracture that sidelined him for much of last season. In 17 games with 15 starts, he has completed 50.6% of his passes for 1,814 yards with eight touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Despite his first-round pedigree and age (23), his value on the trade market remains uncertain as teams assess his injury history and inconsistent performance.
