Canada's Homan Wins Curling Bronze

Rachel Homan secured Canada's bronze medal in Olympic women's curling with a 10-7 victory over the United States at Milano Cortina 2026.

Team Homan scored three crucial points in the eighth end to break the game apart after Team Peterson's triple takeout attempt fell short. Homan's perfect draw with her last shot gave Canada an 8-5 lead that they would not relinquish despite a U.S. deuce in the ninth end.

This bronze medal adds to Homan's impressive career achievements, which include a 198-31 record over the last two years, two undefeated Scotties titles, back-to-back world championships, and six grand slam event victories. It marks Canada's first women's curling medal since Jennifer Jones won gold in Sochi 2014.
