Sentnor scores as USWNT edges Canada 1-0 in SheBelieves Cup

Ally Sentnor scored the decisive goal in the 55th minute as the United States women's national team defeated Canada 1-0 in the SheBelieves Cup.

Sentnor netted her seventh international goal off a Rose Lavelle corner, punching the ball past defenders and Kailen Sheridan to break a scoreless deadlock.

The win moved the U.S. to the top of the SheBelieves Cup standings. Canada was without injured star Jessie Fleming, while Trinity Rodman started despite a nagging back issue.
