Holiday, Grant Lead Blazers Past Grizzlies

Jrue Holiday poured in 35 points with 11 assists and Jerami Grant added 30 as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated Memphis 122-114 Wednesday night to end a two-game losing streak.

The Trail Blazers (30-33), fighting for a postseason spot, used a 24-19 scoring edge over the final nine minutes to seal the victory. Portland had lost three of their last four games entering Wednesday. Robert Williams III contributed 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winners.

Memphis got double-figure scoring from seven players, including Jaylen Wells with 24 points and GG Jackson with 20, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Blazers. The Grizzlies lost their second straight game and for the ninth time in 12 contests. Ja Morant missed his 18th straight game due to a left elbow injury.
