Max Allegri dimisses rumours of Milan exit

Max Allegri has addressed the growing speculation surrounding his future at Milan, moving to squash rumors of a potential summer departure and a breakdown in his relationship with the club.

The Rossoneri manager’s position had come under scrutiny following reports from SportItalia, which suggested that a rift had developed between the coach and the management, leading to a likely exit at the end of the campaign. However, speaking to the media, Allegri clarified his stance and his commitment to the ongoing project at the San Siro.

According to Calciomercato, Allegri was firm when asked about his intentions and his bond with the Rossoneri.

“Regarding these rumors that have been circulating this week, we are in complete agreement with the club. As is normal in discussions, there can be differing points of view. It’s important that everyone works for the good of AC Milan. I’m very happy to have returned to AC Milan after 15 years and to have started working with a wonderful group of guys.”

He further emphasized his dedication to the club’s colors, insisting that he remains fully focused on the technical challenges ahead rather than off-field rumors.

“The club is planning and structuring AC Milan’s future. To do this, we need to achieve the most important result. So far, we’re doing quite well in March. Now we need to see if we’re good enough to stay there or take the last step. There’s a connection between me and the club.”

By directly addressing the claims of a fallout, Allegri has attempted to restore calm to the Milan environment as the season enters its most critical phase.
