INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The Pittsburgh Steelers need a quarterback. In other news, the sky is blue.

Pittsburgh continues to wait on Aaron Rodgers’ decision, which Omar Khan says he doesn’t expect to drag on as it did last offseason. Adam Schefter adds that the Steelers expect to know by mid-March.

While they wait, though, Pittsburgh has been doing its due diligence at the NFL Combine. Per Nick Farabaugh of PennLive, the Steelers had a meeting with Penn State quarterback Drew Allar.

Allar was expected to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but decided to return to Penn State after the Nittany Lions made it to the semi-finals of the College Football Playoff. Penn State then lost six straight games after starting 3-0, the third of which was a loss to Northwestern in which Allar suffered a season-ending ankle injury. He will participate in drills at the Combine.
