The 2026 Welsh Open tournament is the sport's longest running ranking event after the World Championship and UK Championship.
The week-long event has featured on the global sporting calendar every year since 1992, establishing itself as one of the most historic tournaments in snooker.
The tournament runs from 23 February to 1 March at Venue Cymru in Llandudno in north Wales.
The decision to keep the event in north Wales has been questioned by Welshman Jackson Page with English players - Mark Selby, Gary Wilson and Robert Milkins - winning each year at the venue.
A Welshman has not won the event since Mark Williams lifted the trophy in both 1996 and 1999.
Defending champion Mark Selby was knocked out in the first round by China's Jiang Jun on Monday, losing 4-3.
