USA Beats Chile 4-2; Albert Youngest Scorer

The U.S. men's national team secured a 4-2 victory over Chile in St. Louis, with 17-year-old Mathis Albert becoming the youngest scorer in program history.

The Stars and Stripes overcame a stiffer test against Chile than their previous match against Peru. Teenage striker Julian Hall scored the equalizer after Chile took an early lead, while Chris Richards sealed the win with a header from a Sebastian Berhalter corner. Berhalter and Sergiño Dest also contributed goals.

Mathis Albert became the youngest scorer in US program history at 17 years, four months, breaking Christian Pulisic's record. The USA will face their rival Mexico on Saturday in Arizona as part of the FIFA international window. hilogame.news
