Sullivan Shines in US Debut

US soccer prodigy Cavan Sullivan, 17, made history as the second-youngest starter in national team history, delivering a solid performance in a 4-1 win over Peru.

The Philadelphia Union star, celebrating his 17th birthday, played 62 minutes in Saturday's friendly at Orlando's Inter&Co Stadium. Sullivan became just the fourth 16-year-old to represent the US and the first in over 20 years.

'He's a special player,' said US veteran Tyler Adams. 'He's obviously very young still, but you wouldn't [notice].' With seven goals and nine assists in his last nine games for Philadelphia, Sullivan earned his opportunity and could feature again when the US faces Chile on Tuesday. akupunkturabielsko.pl
