Oregon QB Moore Carted Off After Head Hit

Oregon quarterback Dante Moore was carted off the field after taking a hit to the head from USC linebacker Desman Stephens III during the second quarter.

The hit occurred as Moore escaped pressure and began to slide. He remained on the field as tempers flared between the teams before being placed on a stretcher with a neck brace. Moore was taken by cart toward an ambulance, reportedly moving both arms and feet slightly. Stephens was ejected from the game for targeting.

Backup quarterback Dylan Raiola entered following Moore's injury and connected with Evan Stewart for a three-yard touchdown on his first throw. Raiola and Stewart both held up five fingers in support of Moore. rocore.sbs
