Mbappé Dispute with Paraguay Senator

The United Nations has intervened in the escalating dispute between Kylian Mbappé and Paraguayan Senator Celeste Amarilla following racist remarks after France's victory over Paraguay.

The conflict began after Paraguay's elimination in the round of 16. Senator Amarilla made offensive racist comments about Mbappé, calling him a 'colonized Cameroonian pretending to be French, resentful, new-rich, arrogant, ugly, an idiot who couldn't even learn to write; instead of maternal milk, he sucked coconuts and the most cultured thing he's ever heard in his life were chimpancées.'

Mbappé responded by calling her 'incompetent, unworthy; blatant racism.' The United Nations has now stepped in to address the situation amid growing international condemnation of the senator's remarks. palladian.co.za
