Caglianone, Rice Commit to 2026 Derby

Kansas City Royals slugger Jac Caglianone and New York Yankees' Ben Rice have become the first players to commit to the 2026 MLB Home Run Derby, set for July 13 in Philadelphia.

The 23-year-old Caglianone, making his Derby debut, is hitting .258 with 14 home runs this season. His homers average 418 feet, tied for the best in MLB. Rice, who leads the Yankees with 26 homers, will have his father Dan pitch to him in the event. truewildgame.com
