Atlanta Braves starter Spencer Strider returned from the injured list to face the Colorado Rockies, allowing three earned runs and five walks in 3 1/3 innings.

"I’d rather be pitching than hurt, for sure, but I don’t want a participation trophy," Strider said. He is scheduled to face the Los Angeles Dodgers next weekend.
