Reiger Top UDFA Candidate for Dolphins Roster

Bleacher Report and Dolphins Wire both predict Wisconsin pass rusher Mason Reiger has the best chance of making the Dolphins' 53-man roster as an undrafted free agent.

The Miami Dolphins, undergoing a roster overhaul, signed Reiger after trading Jaelan Phillips and cutting Bradley Chubb. With a thin pass rusher group, Reiger has a legitimate opportunity to earn a spot in the rotation. The outside linebacker/edge from Wisconsin was an immediate signing in the rookie free agent market after not being drafted.

Reiger compares favorably to former Dolphins player Andrew Van Ginkel, who became a Pro Bowler with Minnesota. Both stand at 6-foot-4 with similar athletic profiles, high motors, and determination to get to the quarterback. Reiger ranked third among linebackers in athleticism score at the 2026 NFL scouting combine with a Relative Athletic Score of 9.53. truewildgame.com
