Astros Fall to Rockies 5-1 as Offense Goes Silent

The Houston Astros' powerful offense went quiet in a 5-1 loss to the Colorado Rockies, managing just one run on three hits in Denver.

Christian Walker's second-inning solo homer was the only offense the Astros could muster against Rockies pitchers Kyle Freeland and Antonio Senzatela. Houston's pitching and defense struggled as well, with starter Mike Burrows giving up key hits including a two-run blast by Willi Castro in the fourth inning.

Mickey Moniak added a 426-foot homer in the seventh to extend the Rockies' lead. The Astros will try to salvage the final game of the series Wednesday with Cristian Javier on the mound.
