Ramsey Retires from Football

Wales captain and former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has retired from professional football at the age of 35, with plans to pursue a coaching career.

Aaron Ramsey, who made his Wales debut at 17 in 2008, retires as one of Wales' greatest players with 21 goals in 86 appearances. The midfielder played an integral role in Wales' historic run to the Euro 2016 semi-finals, earning a place in Uefa's team of the tournament.

Ramsey started his career at Cardiff City before joining Arsenal in 2008, where he won three FA Cups. He later played for Juventus, Nice, and had a second stint at Cardiff before joining Pumas UNAM last year. After failing to find a new club, Ramsey has decided to call time on his playing career.
