Alabama Extends Oats, Makes Him One of Top 5 Highest-Paid Coaches

Alabama head coach Nate Oats has signed a new contract that will keep him at the program through the 2031‑32 season and place him among the sport’s highest paid coaches.

Alabama athletic director Greg Byrne announced that Nate Oats has received a new deal that extends his tenure through the 2031‑32 season and will make him one of the top five compensated men’s basketball coaches in the country, with an annual salary expected to exceed $6 million.
