UCLA Dominates South Carolina for First NCAA Title

UCLA secured its first-ever NCAA women's basketball championship by defeating the South Carolina Gamecocks 79-51 on Easter Sunday.

Star center Lauren Betts and guard Kiki Rice led the Bruins to a dominant 79-51 victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks. UCLA held a commanding 61-32 lead heading into the final quarter.

This historic win marks the program's first national title since the NCAA tournament began in 1982. Coach Cori Close guided the team through a 45-year drought, securing the championship with an emotional performance from the senior class.
