Jo Adell robs 3 homers, Hunter calls it greatest defensive game ever

Los Angeles Angels right fielder Jo Adell secured a 1-0 victory over the Seattle Mariners with three spectacular home run robberies, including a leaping catch into the stands in the ninth inning.

Adell's catches included denying Cal Raleigh in the first inning and Josh Naylor in the eighth before a final spectacular play against J.P. Crawford. The final grab, which involved Adell flipping over the wall and falling into the seats, was upheld after review.

Hall of Famer Torii Hunter, watching from the bench, called the performance "probably the greatest defensive game I've ever seen." This marks the first time in baseball history a player is believed to have robbed three home runs in a single game.
