England’s 2026 World Cup squad has only half of the 26 spots confirmed. Goalkeeper Pickford remains the undisputed No.1 and striker Harry Kane is irreplaceable up front.

Midfielders Declan Rice and Elliot Anderson look certain to start, but no realistic challenger has emerged for Bukayo Saka on the right. Jude Bellingham’s hopes of grabbing the No.10 spot were dashed after other challengers failed to impress against Japan and Uruguay.
