Tom Bischof delivered a stellar performance for the Germany U21s, setting up both goals in a 2-0 away win over Greece that moved them top of their qualifying group.

Hiroki Ito started for Japan in their 1-0 friendly win over England at Wembley, though Harry Kane did not feature. Meanwhile, Konrad Laimer played the full 90 minutes for Austria in their 1-0 loss to South Korea, where teammate Minjae Kim also started.
