Akron Zips Promote Dustin Ford to Head Coach

The Akron Zips have promoted assistant Dustin Ford to head coach, replacing John Groce following his departure for College of Charleston.

Dustin Ford, a longtime assistant under John Groce, has been promoted to the head coaching position at Akron. Ford, who previously worked at Western Carolina, returns to the Zips following Groce's move to College of Charleston.
