Washington's Burdick Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week

Washington Huskies outfielder Kaycie Burdick has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week after helping the team extend its winning streak to 20 games.

Burdick posted a .526 batting average over four games, going 10-for-19 with 7 runs batted in and 7 runs scored. Her week featured a career-high four hits and a grand slam against Loyola Chicago.
