John Heitinga leaves Tottenham despite plea to stay

Former Tottenham assistant John Heitinga has departed the club after just 32 days, despite the club urging him to remain following Thomas Frank's dismissal.

Heitinga was asked to stay by the club following Frank's sacking, but he chose to leave instead. The 41-year-old joined Tottenham in February but is now moving on.
