Jaguars DB Needs at NFL Combine

The NFL combine begins Feb. 23 as the Jaguars evaluate defensive back needs, with key corners and safety potentially leaving in free agency.

The NFL combine runs from Feb. 23 to March 2 in Indianapolis, where prospects participate in drills and measurements that impact draft stock. For the Jaguars, defensive back needs are significant with Montaric Brown and Greg Newsome potentially not returning at cornerback, while safety Andrew Wingard is also set for free agency.

Jacksonville currently has Jarrian Jones, Jourdan Lewis and Travis Hunter under contract at cornerback, plus Eric Murray and Antonio Johnson at safety. The team has 11 draft picks that could address these position needs as they look to bolster their secondary.
