Imavov Threatens to Leave Strickland 'Dead Inside Cage'

Nassourdine Imavov has vowed to 'leave Sean Strickland dead inside the cage' in a potential rematch, calling out the former champion after his latest UFC victory.

Nassourdine Imavov has reignited his feud with Sean Strickland, threatening to 'leave him dead inside the cage' if granted a rematch. The French middleweight, who has been unbeaten since losing to Strickland in January 2023, called out the former champion after his latest victory against Caio Borralho.

Imavov (17-4 MMA, 9-2 UFC) believes he deserves a UFC title shot over Strickland (30-7 MMA, 17-7 UFC), despite the American's claims he should leapfrog Imavov for a fight against champion Khamzat Chimaev. The 30-year-old Russian-French fighter is angered by Strickland's comments about Muslims and has been calling for a rematch for two years.
