Nassourdine Imavov has reignited his feud with Sean Strickland, threatening to 'leave him dead inside the cage' if granted a rematch. The French middleweight, who has been unbeaten since losing to Strickland in January 2023, called out the former champion after his latest victory against Caio Borralho.
Imavov (17-4 MMA, 9-2 UFC) believes he deserves a UFC title shot over Strickland (30-7 MMA, 17-7 UFC), despite the American's claims he should leapfrog Imavov for a fight against champion Khamzat Chimaev. The 30-year-old Russian-French fighter is angered by Strickland's comments about Muslims and has been calling for a rematch for two years.
