Nebraska baseball falls to Kansas State 5-3

Nebraska (3-3) fell to Kansas State (5-1) 5-3 on Saturday night, surrendering a 3-1 lead in the later innings.

The Huskers took an early lead, highlighted by a two-RBI double from Joshua Overbeek. Mac Moyer led the offense with a 2-for-3 performance. However, Kansas State's Carlos Vasquez delivered the decisive blow, going 3-for-4 with four RBIs to secure the 5-3 victory.

Carson Jasa started on the mound, pitching 5.2 innings and striking out eight. J’Shawn Unger took the loss in relief. The series concludes Sunday afternoon against No. 16 Florida State at 2:30 p.m. CT.
