San Jose Earthquakes forward Daniel Munie scored twice and Preston Judd added a goal in a 3-0 victory over Sporting Kansas City on Saturday night.
Munie and Judd scored four minutes apart just before halftime, with Judd converting a header off a deflection before Munie tapped in the equalizer. Judd added another goal in stoppage time of the first half, and Munie scored again in the 54th minute. San Jose outshot Kansas City 18-7 and held a 15-3 advantage in corner kicks.
