Shehzad Slams Shadab for India Remark

Veteran Pakistan batter Ahmed Shehzad has criticized all-rounder Shadab Khan for his comments about Pakistan beating India in ICC events, accusing him of benefiting from undue support.

Ahmed Shehzad launched a fierce attack on Shadab Khan after the latter claimed he was part of a Pakistan side that beat India in an ICC event, a feat he suggested previous generations couldn't accomplish. "First of all, you came in through the back door," Shehzad said, questioning Shadab's place in the national team and accusing him of preferential treatment.

Former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir expressed disappointment over Shadab's timing, suggesting such remarks were inappropriate during an ongoing tour. "If you're on tour, there will be criticism. So, you've got no right to say such things when you are on tour," Amir noted. Ex-wicketkeeper Rashid Latif sarcastically added that Shadab should get credit for showing courage to speak his mind.
