Amber Glenn Claims Olympic Free Skate Lead

Amber Glenn rebounded from a difficult short program to claim the top spot in the women's free skate at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Glenn delivered a composed performance, scoring 147.52 to move into first place with 12 skaters remaining. The audience at Assago Ice Skating Arena rewarded her effort with a standing ovation.

Although she entered the night in 13th place, Glenn left with her head held high, securing the team gold with her teammates and reclaiming her self-esteem after a rocky team event performance.
