Tony Clark Resigns Amid Scandal

MLBPA chief Tony Clark resigned following an internal investigation revealing an inappropriate relationship with his sister-in-law, a union employee.

The union's executive council supported Bruce Meyer as interim replacement, but at least three players opposed him during a conference call. No vote was taken, with players scheduled to reconvene Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Meyer is set to meet with Kansas City Royals players on Wednesday and may address the media afterward. Clark still faces a federal investigation despite being cleared of financial misconduct.
