Caleb Walls, 27, has been promoted to head coach of the Dr. Phillips Panthers after Rodney Wells stepped down. Walls has served on the staff for three years and will take over the program that has posted a 9‑4 record last season.
Wells left after 15 seasons, compiling a 136‑50 record and seven double‑digit win seasons. The Panthers finished the 2025 season ranked 76th in the state.
