Cousins' 7-game win streak impresses Raiders

Published October 1, 2026 · Updated October 1, 2026 · NBC Sports

Kirk Cousins has extended his winning streak to seven consecutive games as the Raiders' starting quarterback, maintaining his role as a bridge QB until Fernando Mendoza is ready.

The Raiders remain undefeated at 3-0 with Cousins at the helm, who has thrown for nine touchdowns and three interceptions with a 107.2 passer rating. Coach Klint Kubiak emphasized that the team is focused on the next game with Cousins set to start.

Cousins could make NFL history by becoming the first quarterback since the 1970 merger to win four consecutive games for two different teams in the same streak. 'I've never really felt like anything was going to be handed to me,' Cousins said about his approach to each game. piekny-pies.pl
