The 49ers are signing wide receiver Dante Pettis to their practice squad amid injuries to their wide receivers' room. Pettis, 30, was a second-round pick by the 49ers in 2018 and had 467 yards and five touchdowns as a rookie.
The 49ers waived Pettis during the 2020 season, and he has since played for the Giants, Bears and Saints. In eight games with the Saints last season, Pettis made nine catches for 127 yards. The team recently signed veteran Brandin Cooks to the practice squad as well. somethingsdifferent.biz
