Patriots QB Morton shines as punter, TD leader

Rookie Patriots quarterback Behren Morton made a strong case for roster inclusion by filling in as an emergency punter and throwing a game-winning touchdown in Saturday's preseason game.

Despite never punting in college, Morton stepped in for an ill Bryce Baringer and averaged 44.3 yards on three punts. The seventh-round draft pick later sealed the victory with a 37-yard touchdown pass in the final minute.
