Woods Signs One-Year Deal to Retire as Ram

Veteran wide receiver Robert Woods has signed a one-year contract with the Rams to retire with the team after 13 NFL seasons.

Woods, who played for the Rams from 2017-21, announced his retirement in a social media post, expressing gratitude for 27 years in football. "After 27 unforgettable years of putting my heart into this game, and 13 incredible years in the NFL, it's time to step away," he wrote.

The 12-year NFL veteran totaled 367 receptions for 4,626 yards and 23 touchdowns during his Rams tenure. He was part of the Super Bowl LVI championship roster in 2021 and recorded two 1,000-yard seasons with the team in 2018 and 2019.
