CAN féminine 2026 : Le Cameroun rejoint le Malawi pour une finale inédite
Le Cameroun a créé la sensation en demi-finale de la CAN féminine 2026 en éliminant le Maroc, pays hôte, au terme d’une rencontre indécise. Après un score de 0-0 au terme du temps réglementaire puis des prolongations, les Lionnes indomptables ont finalement fait la différence lors de la séance de tirs au but (3-1).
Le Maroc, qui espérait atteindre la finale à domicile, voit ainsi son parcours s’arrêter aux portes du dernier match. Le Cameroun, de son côté, s’offre une qualification historique et retrouvera le Malawi en finale, le 16 août prochain.
Cette affiche opposera donc deux équipes qui ont créé la surprise dans cette édition. Le Malawi avait auparavant éliminé l’Algérie (3-1) en demi-finale et disputera lui aussi la première finale de CAN féminine de son histoire. ipl-cricket.in

Kaizer Chiefs v Mamelodi Sundowns: Date, venue, kickoff time, TV channel
Kaizer Chiefs will host Mamelodi Sundowns in their third Betway Premiership match of the season this weekend.
Amakhosi have made a strong start to their league campaign, winning both of their opening matches and currently sitting at the top of the log.
Chiefs secured a 2-0 victory over Sekhukhune United in midweek, with Luke Baartman and Mduduzi Shabalala finding the back of the net in the second half to secure all three points.
It is the second successive season that Chiefs have won their opening two league matches, and they will now face a much tougher test against Sundowns.
All attention turns to Sunday as Amakhosi look to extend their unbeaten run against their rivals to four matches across all competitions.
Kaizer Chiefs and Sundowns meet early
The two sides met twice last season, with both encounters ending in draws.
Sundowns, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back after a difficult start to their league campaign. The defending champions, who missed out on a ninth consecutive league title last season, opened their Betway Premiership campaign with a scrappy 3-2 victory over TS Galaxy on Tuesday.
Masandawana will now be hoping to claim maximum points away from home against Chiefs, but they face an Amakhosi side that appears to have gained confidence from their impressive start.
Although Sundowns have traditionally dominated this fixture and have been favourites in many of their recent meetings, this weekend’s encounter could be a much closer contest.
Sundowns have shown some defensive vulnerability, while Chiefs have looked particularly strong in the league so far.
When do Kaizer Chiefs play Sundowns?
Kaizer Chiefs host Mamelodi Sundowns at FNB Stadium on Saturday, 15 August, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00. The match will be televised on SABC 1 as well as SuperSport 2.

Mo’unga back in black for Bok showdown
Richie Mo’unga is heading to South Africa after being called up to the All Blacks squad for the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry tour.
The 56-Test flyhalf is expected to fly out of Christchurch on Thursday after All Blacks coach Dave Rennie recalled him as a replacement for injured centre Billy Proctor.
“We really feel for Billy. He has had a great season so this is frustrating for him. It is the harsh reality of our game,” said Rennie.
“We wish him all the best with his recovery and hope to see him fit and well in time for the end-of-year tour selection.
“Richie is the obvious choice as a replacement. His job now is to get in and learn our systems, get his head around the detail and earn the right to play.”
Mo’unga has not played for the All Blacks since the 2023 World Cup final against the Springboks and only returned to New Zealand a couple of months ago after his stint in Japan.
The 32-year-old became eligible for All Blacks selection again after playing for Canterbury against Auckland in the NPC on 1 August and has since made two more appearances.
PLUM: All Blacks can expose Bok defence
Mo’unga joins a star-studded group of flyhalves and playmakers in South Africa, alongside Ruben Love, Beauden Barrett, Damian McKenzie and Josh Jacomb.
Love is expected to start at No 10 against the Springboks in the first Test at Ellis Park next Saturday after impressing during the Nations Championship and producing a strong performance against the Sharks.
The All Blacks face the Vodacom Bulls in Pretoria on Saturday.
