À seulement 22 ans, le milieu de terrain international, Yacine Titraoui, est en train de franchir un cap majeur dans sa jeune carrière.
Auteur d’une saison convaincante sous les couleurs de Charleroi, le milieu de terrain algérien a réussi à gagner la confiance de Vladimir Petkovic, qui l’a retenu dans ses plans pour la Coupe du monde 2026. Coéquipier de Belloumi à Hull City
Selon des informations de Foot Mercato, Hull City, récemment promu en Premier League après son succès en finale des barrages d’accession, surveille de près la situation du joueur. Les dirigeants des Tigers envisageraient même de passer à l’action dans les prochaines semaines afin de tenter de convaincre Charleroi de céder son talent algérien. La présence de Mohamed Bachir Belloumi dans l’effectif de Hull City pourrait constituer un atout supplémentaire pour le club anglais. De Villiers blocks out Bok talk
Stormers flank Paul de Villiers has shut out any talk of Springbok selection as he prepares for the biggest match of his young career so far.
The 23-year-old will feature in his first Vodacom URC semi-final when the Stormers take on Irish giants Leinster in Dublin on Saturday.
For De Villiers, the focus is firmly on helping the Stormers reach another final rather than any potential international recognition that could follow.
“I speak on behalf of every player when I say the focus is solely on Saturday’s game against Leinster,” he said.
“We’ll see what happens after that. For now, the focus is only on what we can do to improve and win on Saturday.”

De Villiers has emerged as one of the Stormers’ most influential forwards this season, with his ability over the ball proving crucial in several tight contests.
The openside was again prominent in last week’s quarter-final victory over Cardiff, winning two key turnovers as the Cape side booked their place in the last four.
Now he is preparing for what he describes as a dream opportunity.
“This is what the team has worked for all season – to get to the semi-finals,” said De Villiers. “To now play against Leinster, an outstanding team, makes it an even bigger occasion for us.

Comrades veteran attacked on training run
Phillip Ralehlaka, a seasoned Comrades Marathon stalwart, has spoken out about a frightening incident that took place during a training run this past weekend.
Ralehlaka was mugged by two assailants, and had his cellphone and Garmin watch stolen, in an incident that occurred during a routine training run in the suburb of Raslouw, Centurion.
The Gauteng runner, who still aims to take part in the historic Comrades ultra-marathon, managed to avoid any physical harm during the attack, but admitted he feared for his life when the attackers tried to force him into nearby bushes.
Ralehlaka remains committed to running the Comrades
Posting to Facebook, Ralehlaka – who has taken part in 12 Comrades Marathon events – shared his traumatic experience.
“At around 09:10 this Sunday morning whilst jogging I was mugged (of) my phone and Garmin watch at gunpoint and knife.
“I gave them the password for my phone and they wanted to drag me into the bushes to “talk further”. I resisted, I kept my eyes on the gunman and as soon as he put the gun away to look into my phone, I sped off onto the road, screaming and trying to get motorists attention.
“The robbers disappeared into the bush. I met a good Samaritan who offered to take me home. A criminal case has been opened. Runners, cyclists and walkers be safe out there. Exercise in groups.”
A couple of days later, he further posted: “I drove past the crime scene twice. In the morning, after dropping the children off at school, I visited nearby security estates to collect the contact details of estate managers.
“The security guards informed me that several domestic workers and gardeners had also fallen victim to crime at the same location.”
Meanwhile, the Jacaranda Athletic Club “expressed shock and concern” over the incident.
“Fortunately, the runner was not seriously injured. However, the club described the incident as a traumatic experience. In response, the club has urged runners, cyclists, and outdoor athletes to remain vigilant, avoid isolated routes, and exercise in groups whenever possible.
“The club has also called on law enforcement agencies, community policing forums, and private security companies to increase patrols and strengthen safety measures in popular running and cycling areas. Support has been offered to the affected runner.”
Past incidents
Back in 2020, Comrades champion Nick Bester was brutally attacked in the Magaliesberg mountains near Pretoria while on a training run. Three men beat him with rocks, tied him up, and left him after stripping his clothes, but he managed to escape to a nearby fence to get help.
And in 2017, nine-time Comrades winner Bruce Fordyce was also held up and robbed at gunpoint in Parktown, Johannesburg, losing his shoes and watch. He managed to return home, put on a fresh pair of shoes, and finish his run.
