لتعزيز جهود الاستدامة في الفعاليات المستقبلية .. «الإرث».. وSEASHORE …

في إطار جهودها المتواصلة لتعزيز إرث الاستدامة في دولة قطر، وقّعت اللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث مذكرة تفاهم مع مجموعة شاطئ البحر»SEASHORE»، إحدى المجموعات التجارية القطرية ذات الخبرة في العديد من المجالات، بما فيها حلول الاستدامة المتقدمة. وانطلاقًا من إطار الاستدامة الذي تتبناه اللجنة العليا، ستعمل المؤسستان معًا على تنفيذ عدد من المبادرات الميدانية التي تهدف إلى رفع مستويات الوعي بالاستدامة وتطبيق أفضل المعايير ذات الصلة في أماكن العمل والفعاليات الكبرى. وتشمل المبادرات تطبيق حلول فعّالة لإدارة النفايات والتسميد العضوي، إلى جانب إطلاق حملات توعوية بيئية تهدف إلى تشجيع تبني ممارسات أكثر استدامة في بيئة العمل. كما ستستفيد اللجنة العليا من خبرات مجموعة شاطئ البحرSEASHORE، بما في ذلك استخدام تطبيق الذكاء الاصطناعي للمجموعة لإعادة التدوير، وتنظيم زيارات ميدانية متخصصة لاستكشاف ممارسات أكثر ذكاءً في مجال الاستدامة.
كما سيمتد التعاون بين اللجنة العليا والمجموعة ليشمل الفعاليات الكبرى التي تستضيفها دولة قطر مستقبلًا، من خلال تنفيذ مبادرات تهدف إلى تشجيع التخلّص المسؤول من النفايات وتعزيز الوعي البيئي لدى المشجعين وأفراد المجتمع بصفة عامة.
وقد وقّع مذكرة التفاهم المهندس ثاني خليفة الزراع، المدير التنفيذي للاستدامة والإرث في اللجنة العليا، والسيد صقر سعيد المهندي، نائب رئيس مجلس إدارة مجموعة شاطئ البحرSEASHORE، خلال مراسم أُقيمت في مقر اللجنة العليا بالدوحة.
وقال المهندس ثاني خليفة الزراع خلال مراسم التوقيع: «كانت الاستدامة ولا تزال في صميم جميع الفعاليات الكبرى التي نواصل استضافتها. وتتيح لنا هذه الشراكة مع مجموعة شاطئ البحر البناء على هذا الإرث، بما ينسجم مع أهداف رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، فيما نواصل العمل نحو تحقيق مستقبل أكثر استدامة لدولة قطر. وبصفتها إحدى الشركات الرائدة في هذا القطاع، تمثل مجموعة شاطئ البحر شريكًا مثاليًا للجنة العليا لضمان تنظيم فعاليات مستدامة تترك إرثًا طويل الأمد لدولة قطر وخارجها».
ومن جانبه، قال السيد صقر سعيد المهندي: «يسعدنا التعاون مع اللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث على المستويين المؤسسي وعلى مستوى الفعاليات، والإسهام في دعم سجلها المتميز في تنظيم فعاليات عالمية. وتُعد الاستدامة جزءًا أساسيًا من نهج عمل مجموعتنا، ونتطلع إلى توظيف خبراتنا لدعم جهود دولة قطر في مواصلة ترسيخ مكانتها معيارًا عالميًا في تنظيم فعاليات الاستدامة مستقبلًا».

UEFA has declared that it has lost confidence in FIFA president Gianni Infantino despite the decision to abandon plans to sell a stake in the World Cup’s commercial operations. ipl-cricket.in

European football’s governing body issued its latest rebuke on Saturday, hours after FIFA cancelled the proposed FIFA Forward Enterprise project.

The statement deepens the crisis surrounding Infantino’s leadership but does not represent a formal FIFA vote of no confidence or automatically remove him from office.

UEFA has not announced whether its 55 member associations will seek an extraordinary FIFA Congress to consider his dismissal.

Under FIFA’s statutes, 20% of its 211 national associations must request an extraordinary Congress. That means 43 countries could initiate the process and seek to place a no-confidence vote on the agenda.

UEFA alone has enough members to meet that threshold if its associations act collectively.

Prior to UEFA’s statement, Infantino had walked back the idea to sell stakes in the World Cup’s commercial operations. “Having listened carefully to all the views, it has become clear that the project has created divisions,” he said.

The current FIFA president said he intended to reunite the different parties and continue increasing development funding, particularly for countries requiring greater support.

The proposal would have created a subsidiary valued at approximately $20 billion to oversee FIFA’s competitions and associated commercial operations.

FIFA planned to sell about 20% of that company to external investors, raising up to $4.2 billion. Thrive Eternal, an investment vehicle linked to Joshua Kushner’s Thrive Capital, was expected to lead the investor group.

FIFA had also told national associations they could receive up to $40 million in funding if they supported the plan by September 19.

However, UEFA, Concacaf and the Asian Football Confederation opposed the proposal. Together, the three confederations represent 143 of FIFA’s 211 associations.

UEFA’s members had unanimously agreed to boycott all FIFA competitions while the proposal remained active. The European body demanded both its complete withdrawal and binding assurances that FIFA would never open its competitions or governance to private ownership.

Zamalek and Juan Bezerra are in a dispute over his potential move to Shabab Al Ahli, with the winger alleging a broken sale agreement.

Bezerra issued a statement directly to Zamalek supporters on Thursday, without the involvement of his lawyer or media team.

The Brazilian winger said he rejected significant offers late last year because he wanted to help Zamalek win their first Egyptian Premier League title in four seasons.

“The club promised me and my father more than once that it would agree to sell me,” Bezerra said, adding that Zamalek had set an acceptable price and subsequently received an offer that would have made him the most expensive outgoing transfer in the club’s history.

However, the winger accused the board of withdrawing from the alleged agreement.

“This is not the first time that agreements have not been respected, but this time I will not accept it,” he said.

Bezerra argued that the transfer would also help Zamalek address their financial difficulties and prevent other foreign players from experiencing the problems he said he had faced.

The Cairo giants responded hours later by closing speculation over Bezerra’s departure and ordering him to return to Cairo. The club said neither president Hussein Labib nor any board member had promised the player that he could leave this summer.

Zamalek added that Juan Bezerra should identify the person who allegedly made said commitment. Zamalek also said they could not be forced to sell any player, particularly one absent from pre-season training.

Bezerra remains under contract until June 2029. Zamalek warned that they would apply their internal disciplinary rules and take the measures available under his contract unless he returned immediately.

A leaked letter subsequently showed that Zamalek had previously informed Shabab Al Ahli that they were prepared to consider a permanent transfer under specified financial conditions.

Club sources confirmed the letter’s authenticity and said Zamalek had requested $6 million paid up front, alongside a further $1 million in add-ons. The letter was sent in response to a formal Shabab Al Ahli proposal dated July 28.

However, a Zamalek source said the document represented the club’s earlier negotiating position rather than its final decision.

“The club has now decided definitively not to sell the player,” the source said. “The file is closed, and the player has no option but to return.”

KingFut reported earlier this week that the winger had asked Zamalek to discuss Shabab Al Ahli’s approach.

Reports placed the Emirati club’s opening proposal between $3 million and $3.5 million, while Zamalek’s valuation ranged from $6 million to $7 million.
