أكد علي الهتمي رئيس الاتحاد القطري للجمباز تطلع المنتخب القطري إلى تحقيق نتائج مميزة في دورة الألعاب الآسيوية آيتشي - ناغويا 2026، المقررة في اليابان خلال الفترة من 19 سبتمبر الجاري إلى 4 أكتوبر المقبل، وتعزيز حضور الجمباز القطري في هذا المحفل القاري.

وقال الهتمي، في تصريح خاص لوكالة الأنباء القطرية قنا، إن المعسكر الإعدادي الذي يخوضه المنتخب حاليا في أرمينيا يمثل محطة مهمة ضمن خطة التحضير للدورة، ويهدف إلى رفع مستوى الجاهزية الفنية والبدنية للاعبين واللاعبات قبل خوض المنافسات.

وأضاف أن المنتخب استفاد بصورة كبيرة من برنامج الإعداد، الذي تضمن تدريبات مكثفة ركزت على تطوير الأداء الفني ورفع معدلات اللياقة البدنية، إلى جانب معالجة الجوانب الفنية وتحسين مستوى الأداء بما يتناسب مع طبيعة المنافسات المنتظرة.

وأوضح رئيس الاتحاد القطري للجمباز أن لاعبي المنتخب ولاعباته يملكون الإمكانات التي تؤهلهم لتقديم مستويات قوية وتحقيق نتائج جيدة ورفع علم قطر في المحفل القاري، مشيرا إلى أن المشاركة تمثل أيضا فرصة مهمة لاكتساب المزيد من الخبرات من خلال الاحتكاك بأفضل لاعبي الجمباز في آسيا والعالم.

وأشار إلى أن اللاعبين واللاعبات يواصلون تدريباتهم وفق البرنامج الذي أعده الجهاز الفني، بهدف الوصول إلى أعلى درجات الجاهزية قبل السفر إلى اليابان، مع التركيز في المرحلة الأخيرة من الإعداد على تقديم أفضل مستوى ممكن خلال المنافسات، بما يعكس التطور الذي تشهده رياضة الجمباز القطرية.

ويمثل المنتخب القطري في منافسات الجمباز الفني اللاعبان راكان الحارث ومهيرداد قديمي، إلى جانب سلمى ناصر، حيث يشارك كل منهم في الأجهزة المقررة له، وسط طموحات بتحقيق نتائج إيجابية والاستفادة من الاحتكاك بمستويات فنية متقدمة.

ويتضمن المعسكر الإعدادي في أرمينيا برنامجا تدريبيا مكثفا يشمل الجانبين الفني والبدني، مع التركيز على تطوير الأداء وتحسين الجاهزية على الأجهزة، إلى جانب رفع معدلات التركيز والثبات خلال المنافسات، بما يساعد اللاعبين واللاعبات على التعامل مع طبيعة المنافسة القارية.

ويتطلع المنتخب القطري إلى تقديم مستويات قوية في ظل المنافسة المرتقبة أمام نخبة من أبرز لاعبي الجمباز في القارة الآسيوية والعالم، ومن بينهم عدد من أبطال العالم والدورات الأولمبية.

ويأتي البرنامج الإعدادي ضمن إستراتيجية الاتحاد القطري للجمباز الرامية إلى توفير أفضل برامج التحضير للمنتخبات الوطنية، بما يسهم في تطوير المستوى الفني وصقل المواهب وتعزيز قدرتها على المنافسة.

وتشارك دولة قطر في دورة الألعاب الآسيوية العشرين بوفد يضم 243 رياضيا ورياضية، بواقع 184 لاعبا و59 لاعبة، يمثلون 18 اتحادا رياضيا، ويتنافسون في 26 رياضة و32 تخصصا، وسط تطلعات إلى تحقيق نتائج مميزة وتعزيز حضور الرياضة القطرية في هذا المحفل الرياضي القاري.

تدخل منافسات دوري نجوم بنك الدوحة جولتها الرابعة، التي تنطلق غدا وتمتد على مدار ثلاثة أيام، وسط حالة من الترقب والإثارة، بعدما كشفت الجولات الثلاث الأولى عن منافسة مفتوحة، وأكدت أن الطريق نحو القمة لن يكون حكرًا على الأسماء الكبيرة، في ظل ظهور أكثر من فريق بصورة لافتة وقدرته على حصد النقاط وفرض نفسه في سباق المقدمة.

ويواصل السد التربع على قمة جدول الترتيب بالعلامة الكاملة برصيد 9 نقاط، بعدما حقق ثلاثة انتصارات متتالية، ليؤكد رغبته المبكرة في الدفاع عن موقعه والمنافسة بقوة على اللقب. وسيكون اختبار السد أمام السيلية فرصة جديدة للزعيم لمواصلة الانتصارات وتوسيع الفارق، بينما يبحث السيلية عن أولى نقاطه في البطولة بعد بداية صعبة.

Al Sadd have collected nine points from their opening three matches and are already two points clear at the top. They will be keen to extend that winning run against an Al Sailiya side still searching for their first point of the season.

The match also comes four days before Al Sadd begin their AFC Champions League Elite campaign against Iran’s Esteghlal on Monday, making another strong league performance important as coach Razvan Lucescu manages a demanding period.

Lucescu, however, insisted his side must keep their attention on the immediate task.

“We know that facing Al Sadd will not be easy. Against such a powerful team, we must maintain peak focus and discipline throughout the match.”

Al Shamal chase leaders

Earlier at Al Bayt Stadium today, second-placed Al Shamal will try to keep the pressure on Al Sadd when they take on Al Wakrah, who are looking to recover from a difficult start.

Al Shamal and Al Rayyan are level on seven points, two behind the champions, after three rounds. Al Shamal come into the game after recovering from 2-1 down to beat Al Shahania 4-2, while Al Wakrah are 11th with just one point following a heavy 4-0 defeat to newcomers Lusail.

Al Shamal coach David Prats expects a tough test despite the gap in the standings.

“We are facing a very good team; from my perspective, they are technically one of the best sides in the league,” he said. “We are excited for this tough match and aim to secure the three points.”

Al Wakrah coach Jose Sierra wants his team to put their latest setback behind them.

“The goal for the upcoming match is to restore the team’s form and rectify past errors,” he said.

“We hope to correct the situation and change the narrative in the next game.”

The remaining Week 4 matches will see Al Gharafa, on three points after two successive defeats, meet in-form Lusail tomorrow. Al Rayyan face Al Ahli, who have four points.

On Saturday, Al Arabi, who have five points, meet Qatar SC, who have one, while Al Duhail, with five points, face Al Shahania, who have three points.

Yamal, 19, thought he had played very well while winning trophies for club and country but said he was happy to let others decide whether he deserved the prize.

The teenager, Mbappe, Harry Kane, Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are the main candidates to win the award at the ceremony in London on October 26.

"I don't think I need to (make a campaign for it), I'm not thinking about what I deserve, everyone can think what they like," Yamal told reporters.

"I'm proud of everything I've done this year with my club and with the national team. We've become world champions, we've won the league again. I can't ask for anything more.

"I think... I've shown an incredible level, it's (the media's) job and I will not beg for anything."

Yamal came second in last year's Ballon d'Or voting behind PSG star Dembele.

France forward Dembele recently told France Football that Kvaratskhelia, Kane and Mbappe would be in his top three to win the award.

"He's a friend of Kylian, right?" joked Yamal of the French winger, formerly of Barcelona.

"The truth is I don't care, I'm very happy with the year I had, when I played against both of them together I must have annoyed them."

Spain knocked out France in the World Cup semi-finals with a convincing 2-0 victory.

Yamal suffered a hamstring injury in April and has only just returned to his best level.

The winger appeared unhappy at the start of the season but seemed far more cheerful as he netted two goals against Rayo Vallecano and Valencia in his last two outings.

"In the end, I'm 19, coming off winning a World Cup, having had the best holidays of my life," said Yamal.

"I've never been happier at any point in my life than I am now."

Champions League dream

The teenager said a key ambition this season was to aim for the "very special" Champions League trophy, with Barcelona beginning their campaign on Wednesday at home against Dutch side Feyenoord.

Barca last won the trophy in 2015, led by the Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar attacking trident.

Under coach Hansi Flick they reached the semi-finals in 2025 and then the quarter-finals last season.

"Every big club is dreaming about this because this is the best competition," said the German.

"We have the quality to win this, but there's a long way (to go)."

Flick hailed Yamal and said the most important thing was that the Spaniard is enjoying himself on the pitch.

"Lamine is a player who can decide games on his own, fantastic quality," added Flick.

"It's great, you can see it every day how he is enjoying playing football.

"For me the best thing is that he enjoys this game and then he's on a top level."

Yamal will be the favourite to win a third consecutive best young player award at the Ballon d'Or ceremony.

He was one of 10 players nominated on Tuesday, including Johan Manzambi, Yan Diomande and Ayyoub Bouaddi, who all impressed at the World Cup and were then the subject of big-money summer transfers.
