Tournament outlook

  • DEFENDING CHAMPION - Division I: St. Bernard
  • TOP PLAYERS - Division I: Xavier Goode, Fitch, Sr., G; Si'kis Reels, Fitch, Jr., G; Kyaire Young, New London, Sr., F; Jayvon Robinson, New London, Sr., G; Josh Lavoie, NFA, Jr., G; Brevin Gonzales, St. Bernard, Jr., G.; Quin Crowley, Killingly, Jr., G
  • FAVORITES - Division I: Fitch, New London
  • DARK HORSES - Division I: NFA, St. Bernard
  • OUTLOOK - Division I: St. Bernard is the three-time Division I champion, but lost virtually its entire starting lineup. While a 4-peat is not out of the questions, it will be quite difficult to achieve. The Saints did split with New London, which has been up and down all season long. The Whalers split with Fitch, the top seed. NFA played much better in the second half of the season to get over the .500 mark overall.
  • MORELLI'S PICK - Division I: New London over Fitch.
