As No. 7 Iowa wrestling (12-6, 5-3 Big Ten) saw its 2025-26 regular-season slate conclude on a sour note via a 32-11 loss at No. 3 Oklahoma State (15-1, 7-0 Big 12) from Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Okla., on Sunday, Hawkeye fans voiced their displeasure on social media with the program's performance against the Cowboys.
Despite beating the Cowboys earlier this season at the National Duals Invitational semifinals in Tulsa, Okla., on Nov. 16, Oklahoma State manhandled Iowa by winning 7-of-10 matches, including three pins and two by technical fall decisions.
As Iowa now prepares for the March 7-8 Big Ten Championships from the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Penn., here are some of the top social media reactions to the Hawkeyes' dual meet against the Cowboys:

The Brands boys have been and are great Hawkeyes and they can hold their heads high and be proud of what they accomplished as wrestlers and as coaches but it's time for a change. There are no plausible excuses to continue down this path, it's over. Take a page from OSU.
