NFL combine: List of offensive linemen invited; what's need for Jaguars?

The NFL combine begins soon, running from Feb. 23 to March 2. To preview this important pre-draft event, we will be taking a position-by-position look at which prospects were invited and the level of need that the Jacksonville Jaguars have at each spot.

The NFL combine is held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and is an opportunity for the top NFL draft prospects in this year’s class to go through measurements and various on-field drills, some of which are specific to their position group, and others measure the player’s overall athleticism.

For NFL teams, this event is another data point for them as they build out their draft profiles and big boards. However, it’s a significant data point, with players potentially flying up and down draft boards depending on how they perform.

In addition to the on-field drills, teams also get the opportunity to meet with players one-on-one as well, which is another important part of the evaluation process as they get to know them both on and off the field.

Up next is the offensive line.

Jaguars offensive linemen under contract in 2026 before free agency

  • Ezra Cleveland
  • Chuma Edoga
  • Robert Hainsey
  • Anton Harrison
  • Walker Little
  • Patrick Mekari
  • Cole Van Lanen
  • Wyatt Milum
  • Jonah Monheim
  • Ricky Lee
  • Jerome Carvin
  • Killian Zierer

What is the need on the offensive line for the Jaguars this offseason?

The Jaguars will enter the offseason positioned well on the offensive line. Their starting five from last season is all still under contract, along with a few of their first options off the bench.

However, that doesn't mean we won't see GM James Gladstone add to this unit either. For one, even with the success the offense had down the stretch, the Jaguars' offensive line really struggled during the second half of the season to carve out running lanes.

As we look for ways that Jacksonville can take a step forward in Year 2 under Liam Coen, a more consistent running game would go a long way.

In addition to that, the draft is about planning ahead, and looking ahead to 2027, there could be turnover within this position group. Jacksonville could move on at that point from Little, Mekari, and/or Hainsey by getting out of their contracts with a good amount of salary cap savings, while Edoga will be a free agent.

With 11 draft picks, we can expect some investment into the offensive line unit from the Jaguars.
