Roma want Fortini to replace Celik in the summer

Roma is preparing for the match against Cremonese, where crucial Champions League points are at stake ahead of the big match against Juventus.

Gasperini will once again rely on Malen and Zaragoza, two January signings. Wesley, who has returned to training with the team after his injury against Napoli, could start on the flanks.

On the right, Celik, now in his final season with Roma, will operate as usual.

The Turk will join Juventus on a free transfer this summer.

As reported by La Repubblica, Roma has already identified a replacement: Fiorentina’s Niccolò Fortini, who was also tracked in January.

The Viola winger plays on the left, but Roma’s goal is to restore Wesley to his natural position on the right.

The Giallorossi had already negotiated Fortini in January, but didn’t make the move due to the Tuscans’ high demands and their priority was strengthening their attack.

With Celik’s departure at the end of the season, the Giallorossi are ready to return to the hunt for the winger. Roma is aiming to complete the deal in the spring to avoid a summer transfer window.
