Myles Garrett doesn’t show this side of himself often, but when he does, it lands hard.
The Cleveland Browns star wrote a poem for girlfriend Chloe Kim that brought the two-time Olympic snowboarding champion to tears. Kim opened up about the moment during a Sports Illustrated feature, explaining how she first stumbled across the words on her phone and couldn’t hold back the emotion.

Garrett recently appeared in a video for the outlet and read the poem himself, showing a softer side that contrasts sharply with the pass-rushing force fans see every Sunday.
The moment happened while Kim was sitting with the team. Garrett suddenly turned to her and asked if she still had the poem he had written.
She joked that she had been trying to track it down, and the 25-year-old grinned before handing it over.
“You enrapture fools to kings and exist without a peer. Put on this earth for many things, but our love is why you’re here.”
After Kim admitted to her emotions, Garrett looked at her and could not resist. “You cry easily,” he said.
The exchange revealed a different layer to the defensive end’s personality, one that doesn’t always show up in postgame interviews.

Kim headed into the 2026 Winter Games with a shot at becoming the first snowboarder to win three straight Olympic golds in halfpipe.
She had already made history as the first woman to capture two golds in the event. That quest ended when South Korea’s Choi Ga-on delivered a massive final run that knocked Kim into second place.
The silver medal did not seem to bring her down though. Garrett was there on the sidelines wearing a custom jacket with one of Kim’s Olympic images stitched on it. He stood alongside her parents, Jong Jin Kim and Boran Yun Kim, cheering her on.
