The first batch of projected win totals for the 2026 NFL season is now available, thanks to DraftKings Sportsbook.

DraftKings earlier this week became the first major online sportsbook to reveal the projected over/unders for all 32 NFL teams.

Key Takeaways

  • Nine teams are tied for a high mark of 10.5 projected wins.

  • The Cardinals and Dolphins are expected to have the worst records in football.

  • Since the NFL moved to a 16-game schedule, at least one team has won 12 games in every season.

Nearly every sportsbook has had Super Bowl LXI odds available since the Seattle Seahawks took down the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX. However, the sportsbooks did not go so far as to offer betting odds related to a specific number of wins for each team.

Boston-headquartered DraftKings ended that on Wednesday.

One of the major headlines is that no team has a projected win total above 10.5. The Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, Seattle Seahawks, and San Francisco 49ers were all part of the 10.5-win club.

The Ravens have the shortest odds to go over (-145), and the 49ers have the shortest odds to go under (-150).

Conversely, two teams – the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins – have over/unders of 4.5 wins, the lowest mark of any team. Both teams have -110 odds on the over and under.

The reigning AFC champion New England Patriots have an over/under of 9.5 wins with -140 odds on the over and +115 on the under.

More NFL odds

Judging by the odds assigned to each team with 10.5 projected wins, DraftKings’ NFL odds imply that the best teams in the NFL will be the Ravens, Rams, Seahawks, and Lions.

Using the same logic, the Cardinals, Dolphins, Las Vegas Raiders, and New York Jets are expected to be near the bottom of the league.

On top of the NFL win total odds, DraftKings has lines for the next Super Bowl champion, division winners, and a variety of specialty lines.

For example, there are +185 odds of there being a first-time Super Bowl champion next year.

While the Ravens are expected to have the best regular-season record, the Seahawks and Rams lead DraftKings’ Super Bowl odds at +900 each. The Bills (+1,000) are third and one spot ahead of the Ravens (+1,200). The Eagles, Patriots, Chiefs, Packers and Lions are all tied for fifth at +1,400.

NFL 2026 season expectations

If DraftKings’ win total odds are indicative of what is to come, the NFL will be filled with parity next season. Sixteen teams were given projected win totals of at least 9.5 wins, which means that they are expected to finish with winning records, while only 11 were given losing projected totals.

Since the NFL moved to a 16-game schedule, there’s never been a year in which the team with the best record did not win at least 12 games.
